Exciting News
One of our “anonymous” supporting churches has offered us two “matching donations” of US$50,000 each to enable us to adopt two new projects in Cameroon.
The first matching donation is for an addition to the Mutengene Hospital and the second is for a Fourplex to house young physicians in training at the Mbingo Hospital.
The stipulation for both “matching donations” is that our anonymous donor will match dollar for dollar all donations designated to these two projects provided that we raise US$50,000 for each project from our donor base.
Ron Klettke will be interacting with Dr. Dennis Palmer and other CBC leaders, while in Cameroon, and we will provide updated information upon his return in March 2010.
February 2010 Trip
We are off with a 12 member team, on February 19th, 2010, under the direction of Ron Klettke and Jeff Brown.
Ron will be in charge of constructing a number of Church Roofs and providing the Mile 8 Church with windows. Jeff’s team will be implementing the Sun Safe Water purification program in various communities. In addition, a number of team members will be spending some time helping along at the Hospital in Bamenda.
Funding for these projects are budgeted at US$70, 000 and we still have a shortfall. Please go to our Donations Page to see the two methods that you can use to help with this funding need.
